Captain Amrosio Sáez first wife was Leonor de Herrera, who died at Guadalupe del Paso before 1692. He next married Antonia Márquz who was dead by 1709. He applied to marry Isabel Madrid, yet that marriage never took place. In 1701, he was banished from Santa Fé for adulterous relations while his Márquez wife was still living.

Some of Captain Amrosio Sáez's children with Antonia Márquez were Francisco and Juliana. Francisco married Juana de Herrera in 1718, when his mother is mentioned as deceased. Juliana became the wife of Juan Griego of Albuquerque.
