She married, first, Simon de St. Liz, Earl of Huntingdon and Northampton, married second, David, "The Saint," King of Scots. Maud of Huntingdon was the mother of Maud de St. Liz, by Simon de St. Liz, who married first, Richard Fitz Richard and second, to Saher de Quincy. Maud of Hunting was also the mother of, Henry of Huntingdon, by David of Scotland, who married Ada de Warenne. 160

On the disgrace and death of Waltheof, earl of Huntingdon, the king bestowed his eldest daughter Maud in marriage on the favourite together with the honour of Huntingdon [Dugdale, Baronage, i. 56, 58], and Simon de St. Liz became the first earl of Northampton of that name

David was married to Maud, widow of Simón St. Liz, Earl of Huntingdon. Maud died before her husband in 1130/31, and was buried at Scone. David lived until 24 May 1153, when he died at Carlisle, and was buried along with his ancestors at Dunermline.
