Robert de Vipont and his wife Isabel de Busli, left only two surviving daughters. Of these daughters, Isabel, lady of the moiety of Essendine, married Roger de Clifford, junior, Baron of Westmoreland. Isabel was of full age 15 Jun 1269, and a widow in 1282. She did homage for her lands held incapite as daughter and coheir of Robert de Vetri Ponte.
