"Sir John Carew, Knt. eldest son of Nicholas, married first Elenor, daughter and coheiress of Sir William Mohn, of Mohuns Otter, Knt., by whom he had a son, Nicholas, who married Eleanor, daughter of Gilbert, lord Talbot, but died without issue, 1324. Sir John married, secondly, Joan, daughter of Gilbert, lord Talbot, by whom he had one son,"" Sir John Carew, Knt. Baron of Carew and Mullesford."
