Robert le Strange's wife was Eleanor de Whitechurch. 160

Fulk le Strange of Blackmere in Whitechurch, Salop, England, second son of Robert le Strange of Whitchurch, by Eleanor, one of the four sisters and coheirs of William de Blanchminster, otherwise Whitchurch, was born about 1267 when he succeeded his eldest brother, John le Strange in 1289 or 17 Edward I, at the age of twenty-two. he took part in the wars with Scotland and France. His name as "Fulco Le Strange, D'n's de Cersham" appears among the Barons in the letter to the Pope. Baron from 13 Jan 1308/09, 2 Edward II until 13 Sep 1324, 16 Edward II, by write directed "Fulconi Le Strange," of Lancaster. In 1332, he was Seneschal of Aquitaine. He married Eleanor, daughter and coheir of John Giffard of Brinsfield, with whom he obtained a third of the manor of Thornhagh, Notthingham, England. He died 1324.

At the time of Edward I and Edward II, Fulk le Strange was engaged in the wars of Scotland and France. He was summoned to parliament as Baron Strange from 13 Jan 1308 to 13 Sep 1324. In 12 Edward II, his lordship obtained pardon for adhering to Thomad, Earl of Lancaster, and in four more years, he was constituted senseschal of the Duchy of Acquitaine. He married Alianore, daughter and co-her to John de Giffard of Brunsfield and by right of Alianore, Fulk received one third part of the manor of Thornhagh in Nottinghamshire. He died in 1324 and was succeeded by his son, John le Strange.
