• Background Information. 252 Salvador Manuel de Armijo, refered to himself as the second son the that name of Vicente Durán de Armijo in his will drawn up in 1764. He married Francisca Alfonsa Lucero de Godoy in Santa Fe on 19 Oct 1734. In his will, he descripted himself as a poor soldier who had attained earthly goods through hard work in Alburquerque. His mililitary duties had taken him to Alburquerque, and there he and his wife raised their twelve children.

There were four legitimate children left in the care of his brother Manuel de Armijo.
