Father Bernal forwarded the proceedings to Durango in June 1804. On 2 Aug 1804, Vicar General Milán Rodríguez, noted the impediment of the reasons given pro scandalo anjusti loci, honestis familiis, and the great distance between New México and Durango. He granted dispensation.
