Sigrida
Noted events in her life were:
• Background Information. 897 Sigrida, wife of Arkill and mother of Gospatric, was the daughter of the Yorkshire thane, Kilvert, son of Ligulf. She had been the wife of another Arkill, son of Fridgist, and also of earl Eadult. She was the granddaughter of bishop Aldun.

• Background Information. 1477 Carlton was one of the vills given by Bishop Aldhun with his daughter Egfrida to Uctred son of Earl Waltheof. Uctred afterwards repudiated her, and she married a Yorkshire thegn, Kilvert son of Ligulf, by whom she had a daughter Sigrid. She was again repudiated, and became a nun. Sigrid married Arkil, who, after her death, restored Carlton to the bishopric [Simeon of Dur. Opera (Rolls Ser.), i, 215-20].

Sigrida married Arkill of Northumberland, son of Ecgfrid and Unknown 897,1067.,1477 (Arkill of Northumberland was born in Northumbria and died after 1069 in Scotland.)
