Robert, son of André, married Emma, daughter of Alan de Dinan, and their only daughter, Eleanor de Vitré, married first, William, son of fulk Painel, secondly, Gilbert de Tillières, and thirdly, William Fitz Patrick, second Earl of Salisbury, and fourth to Gilbert de Malmaines, and outlived him to die in 1233.
