Robert, to whom the Barony of Craon in Anjou was granted by Geoffry Martel in 1052. From his elder son descended the Barons of Craon. His younger son, Guy de Craon accompanied the Conquer, and held 61 lordships in capite, 1086, and was the ancestor of the family in England.
