• Web Reference: Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands: Aufrica was the illegitamite daughter of William "Lion" King of Scotland. Record of her is found in a claim by Roger Manderville for the Scottish throne " in 1291 made by "Rogeri de Mundeville" name "Austrid" as one of the daughters of King William, adding that she married "in Ulvester cuidam Willo de Say" [Palgrave (1837), Vol. I, 9, p. xi]."
Aufrica married William II de Say, son of William de Say Lord de Saye and Beatrix de Mandeville. (William II de Say was born before 1135 in Saham, Norfolk, England and died Shortly before 1 Aug 1177 in Huntingdonshire, England 141.)
