Noted events in her life were:
• Background Information. 141 Simon le Scrope married Ingoliane, and, jointly with her, in or about 1225 executed a charter recording their grant to Henry, their son and heir, of the land in Wensley, Yorks, which they held of Osbert FitzNigel, lord of the vill of Wensley. According to the deposition of Simon, parson of Wensley, taken in 1386, he was buried in the churchyard of Wensley in the ancient fashion, in a stone coffin under a stone inscribed Cy gist Simond Lescrop, without a date.
