He married Urraca, who is named with her husband in his donation to the Cathedral of Oviedo dated 23 Sep 926. She was present in the castle of Lara signing two charters as "Urraca regina" in 927, suggesting the affiliation of her daughter Muniadomna.
Urraca married Ramiro Rey de León, son of Alfonso III "el Magno" Ordóñez Rey de Asturias y Galicia and Ximena García de Navarra. (Ramiro Rey de León died on 31 Mar 929 in León, Asturias, Iberia and was buried in Oviedo Cathedral.)
