• Web Reference: Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Muniadomna. 487 Pérez de Urbel suggests that she was Muniadomna daughter of Ramiro de Asturias titular King of León & his wife Urraca, based on her supposed mother being present in the castle of Lara, which belonged to Muniadomna, when she witnessed two charters in 927. He also points out the apparent corroboration from the naming of her second son after his supposed maternal grandfather. Muniadomna is referred to as "comitissima", and her descendants referred to in Arab sources as the "Banu Muma" as a tribute to her exceptional character, which may also suggests an illustrious ancestry. She settled with her two sons in Lara, from where she and her son made property arrangements in 930. She is last documented 5 Aug 935/8, the date of her donation, with her son Conde Fernando González, of property in Valzalamio to the monastery of Cardeña.
Muñia married Gonzalo Fernández de Lara Conde de Castilla y Burgos, son of Fernando Muñoz de Castilla and Gutina Díaz, before 912. (Gonzalo Fernández de Lara Conde de Castilla y Burgos was born in Castilla, Iberia, died after 932 493 and was buried in Cereso de Río Tirón 493.)
