Alfonso and Berenguela were the parents of Sancho III, King of Castile who married Blanche of Navarre. ¹⁶⁰

She was the mother of Sancho III, Ramón, Fernando II, Constanza who married Louis VII King of France, Sancha who married Sancho VI "el Sabio" King of Navarre, and Garía, who lived only a few years.

Berengaria was Queen consort of Castile, León and Galicia. She was the daughter of Raimon III of Barcelona and Dulce Aldonza Milhaud. Berenguela was the sister of Ramon Berenguer IV who was the ruler of the Kingdom of Aragon.

Berenguela married Alfonso VII "el Emperador" Raimúndez Rey de Galicia, Castilla, Leán, son of Raimundo III Conde de Borgoña and Urraca Alfonsez Condesa y Reina de Catilla y León, in 1128 in Saldana.
