William Holman

William Holman, from Northampton, Northhamptonshire, migrated to the Americn Colonies on the Defence in 1635. On 20 June 1635, "Wm. Hoeman," aged 40, hasbandman, "his wife Winifred," aged 36, with "five children, Hannah, 8; Mary, 4; Sarra, 2; Abraham, 1 quater" were enrolled at London, with certificates of conformity from All Saints, Northampton, as passengers for New England.

William Holman lived in Cambridge, where he died on 8 Jan 1652/53. His wife, Winfied, died at Cambridge of 16 Oct 1671.

• Hannah Holman, baptized at All Saints, Northampton, 30 Nov 1627; married by 1654 to Solomon Johnson


• Jeremiah Holman, baptized at All Saints, Northampton, 29 Mar 1629; married by 1665, Mercy Pratt, daughter of Phineas Pratt, and married as his second wife, Susanna ______.


• Mary Holman, baptized at All Saints, Northampton, 22/23 Feb 1630/31; she died unmarried before 5 Jn 1673/74, and her estated was divided between her sisters Sarah Parker and Seth Ross.


• Sarah Holman, baptized at All Saints, Northampton, 13 Jan 1632/33; married in Dedham, 9 Apr 1657 to Samuel Parkder.


• Abraham Holman, baptized at All Saints, Northampton, 12 Feb 1634/35p nnarried in Hingham, 27 Feb 1662/63 to Sarah Pitts


• Isaac Holman, died in Cambridge, 12 Apr 1663
