Richard Pellett, son of William Pelette and his wife Joan, of Steyning, died between 12 Oct 1531 and 10 May 1532, the dated of his will and its probate. He married a woman named Joan. Richard was mentioned in his father's will of 1503 in which he was left £20 and "the house that Heigham dwelleth in." He was also mentioned in his brother William's will in 1507 and in his brother Thomas's will of 1519.

Richard Pellette made a will dated 12 Oct 1531, which was proved on 10 May 1532. In this will he mentions his wife Joan; sons Richard, Thomas & William; daughters Joan, Alice & Elizabeth; and his brother James.
