Francisco Pérez Granillo
Noted events in his life were:
• Background Information. 252 Francisco Pérez Granillo appears as early as 1617 in the capacity of clerk of the colonial government. In 1626 he was a captain; with another captain, Tomás de Albizu, he was reprehended by Governor Eulate for singing in the Santa Fe church choir His wife's name is not known, but a daughter of his had married Captain Bartolomé Romero II in the early part of the century. Two prominent Granillo men of the next generation, Francisco and Alonso, were in all likelihood his sons.
