• Name. 141 John de Lovaine, son and heir, was aged 27 and more at his father's death. Having done homage, he had livery of his fahter's lands 15 May 1345. He married, 1stly, Joan, whose parentage is unknown. His second wife was Margaret, daughter and coheir of Sir Thomas de Weston. John de Lovaine died without male heir, 30 Jan 1346/7. On 10 Jul 1347, she had licence to marry whom she would of the King's allegiance and later married William de Wauton. She died 25 Jul 1349, heaving by her second husband a daughter named Elizabeth de Wauton.
The heirs of John de Lovaine were two daughters, first Isabel by his first wife, aged 5 years at her father's death. She died about Whitsuntide (5 Jun) 1351, a minor in ward to the King, her heir being her half-sister Eleanor, also a minor. John's second daughter was Eleanor, daughter by his second wife, aged two at her father's death, and age six years and more at her mother's death.
