Simon de Patshull held the barony of Bletshoe, in the county of Beford, Edward I, and married, as Dugdale states [Baron, vol i.,p.143], Isabel, daughter and heir of John de Steygrave, who had summons to parliment 16 Edwaard I.

Simon was suceeded by John Patshull, who the 16 Edward III had summons to a great council at Westminster; the meeting of which was afterwards prorogued, and he was never again summoned, and died circ. 23 Edward III

"William de Patshull, his son (John de Patshull), was never summons and died cir. 34 Edward III, leaving Sibyll, wife of Roger de Bauchamp; Alice, the wife of Thomas Wake, of Blisworth; Catherine, the wife of Robert Tudenham, knight, his sisters and next heirs."

Simon de Pateshulle, son and heir of Sir John de Patehulle, by Hawise, did homage to the Prior of Dunstable in 1290 for the lands which he held of the priory. He married, presumably at some time after Jan 1286/7, Isabel, daughter and heir of John de Stonegrave by Ida, daughter of Balwin Wake, by his first wfe, Ela (to whom Ida was coheir), one of the three daughters of William de Beauchamp, baron of Bedford, in their issue coheirs of the barony; by this marriage, Simon de Pateshulle acquired possession of one-ninths of the barony of Beauchamp of Bedford, and his wife's paternal inheritance in Essex, Lincolnshire, and Yorkshire. Simon died shortly before 2 Dec 1264, mondum miles.

Simon married Isabella de Stonegrave, daughter of Sir John de Stonegrave Knight and Ida Wake ¹⁴¹.^,1212 (Isabella de Stonegrave was born in Stonegrave, Helmsley, Yorkshire, England and died before 1325 in Pattishall, Towcester, Northamptonshire, England ¹⁴¹.)
