• Background Information. 739 Thomas, was among the kights of the county of Northampton, that were returned into chancery, 17 Edward III (1343). He died in 20 Edward III (1345), and was buried at Deeping. He was sheriff of Northamptonshire, 11-15 Edward III. He married Alice, daughter and coheir to Sir John Patehull, of Blethso, in co. Bedfordshire, Knight one of the barons of this realm. They were the parents of Sir Thomas, who married Maud, daughter of Sir Thomas Pigot.
