Odo was succeeded by his son William, who first appears in conjunction with his father in 1194. He appears in records again in 1207, when he succeeded his fahter. He paid in that year a large sum of money that he might not be impleaded for his land of Moulsford, which his predecessors, he said, had held since the days of Henry I. In 1212, William is restored to his lands at Carew and his manor of Moulsford. William must have died before 17 Sep 1213 because documents shoe that his land is in the wardship of a Somerset baron named William Fitz John de Harptree.

Otho de Carrio, son of William, had issue William, unto whom King John, in the 14th year of his reign, made a grant of Mullesford, reciting the grant formerly made unto Gerald by King Henry I, in which Herny I granted unto Gerald, the grandfather of Otho, father of the said William, which had issue Nicholas.
