• Background Information. 713,750 William Daniers, senior, bought land in Daresbury from Henry le Norreys in 1291. His wife was Agnes de Legh, the daughter of Thomas de Legh of High-Legh of Westhall. Agnes and William had a daughter named Margery who married Henry Horsale of Lyme. A second daughter named Agnes married Alexander de Waleton of Daresbury in 30 Edward I. His sons were Thomas Daniers of Bradley in Appleton, a younger son named William Daniers of Daresbury and a third son named John.
