Richard comte d'Evreux married Godechildis, widow of Robert de Conches. Guillaume of Jumièges records that "Richardus Ebroicensis comes filius Roberti Archiepiscopi" married "uxore Rogerii de Toenia" by whom he had "Willelmum qui nunc Ebroicensibus principatur" [Willelmi Gemmetencis Historiæ (Du Chesne, 1619), Liber VII, IV, p. 269]. "Richardus, archipræsulis Roberti filius…et uxor mea Godehyldis" founded Saint-Sauveur d´Evreux, in which "Godehylde filia mea" became a nun, by undated charter [Neustria Pia, p. 592].

Godehildis married Richard Comté d’Évreux, son of Robert d’Évreux archevêque de Rouen and Herleva de Rouen. (Richard Comté d’Évreux was born about 986 in Rouen, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, died on 13 Dec 1067 in Evreux, Eure, Normandy, France and was buried in Fontenelle, monastery of Saint-Wandrille.)
