Urian de Egerton was the second son of Philip de Egerton and his wife Margaret Wrenbury. He was lord of Caldecote in the right of his wife, Amelia, the daughter and heir of David de Caldecote. They were the ancestors of the Egertons of Betley, and also of those of Wrinehill.
Children given by Ormerod for Urian and Amelia were:
Philip de Egerton, living 20-21 Edward III, married to Margery, daughter of William, son of Hugh de Chidlowe of Chedleston. Died with out male heir.
David de Egerton, married Joan, daughter and heir of Peter Prichard, of ap Richard, lord of
Almele, all living 17 Edward III.
William de Egerton, lord of Caldecote, brother and heir of Philip or David, living 16 & 20-21 Edward III. Married to Eustasia, daughter and coheir of Ralph de Haselwelle.
John de Egerton, married Ellen or Alice, daughter of urian St. Pierre by whom he was ancestor of the Egertons of Dunham, or Dinham, Norfolk, England.
