• Background Information. 776 Robert Bulkeley, was the second son of William, became seated at Eaton, in Cheshire, which was given to him by his father. He was Sheriff of the county in 1341, and married Isabel daughter of Phillip Egerton, of Malpas, in Cheshire. ~Collins's Peerage of England, vol. VIII, p. 8
Robert married Isabel Egerton, daughter of Philip le Large de Egerton Lord of Eggerton and Wychehalgh and Elena de St. Pierre. (Isabel Egerton died in 1396 in Cheshire, England.)
