Antonio de Luna is the oldest man of this name appearing after the Reconquest, and only as an obituary. He was married to Jacinta Peláez when he died on August 9, 1729. His widow then married Captain Antonio Montoya in 1737; surviving her second husband, she herself died at Tomé, January 27, 1766.

The next generation contains several men, any or all of whom could have been Antonio's sons. These were: Domingo, Joaquín, Felipe, Antonio, Bernardo, Salvador, and José.

Of early Luna women, María Rosa, wife of Juan Chaves, died October 6, 1738; on October 12, her baby of the same name also died. Gregoria became the wife of Pedro Romero, August 26, 1728.
