"In the Visitation of Devonshire, England, published by Vivian, it is recorded that Sir John Collamore of Lascotte, who died in Braunton in the year 1605, mentioned in his will, John, Thomas, Phillip and Mary, the children of his brother Peter, who had deceased. The family of Peter Collamore resided at Northam, across the bay from Braunton... The Vital Records in the church at Northam show that Thomas, the eldest son of Peter Collamore, was born Sept. 20, 1570, and married Agnes Adams, Jan. 11, 1608. Their children were :
John, born Nov., 1608
Mark, born Feb., 1610
Peter, born Dec, 1613
Jone, born Oct., 1616.
Peter, the third son, was without a doubt the Scituate emigrant of 1639.
