• Background Information. 141 Simon de St. Liz married (Isabel or) Elizabeth de Beaumont, daughter of Robert de Beaumont, Earl of Leicester, by Amice, daughter of Ralph de Gael II, Seigneur of Gael and Montfort-sur-Meu. Simon died Aug 1153, and was buried at St. Andrew's. His widow, Elizabeth, married Gervase Paynell (who was the last of the Paynell Barons of Dudley when their son Robert died d.v.p.).
