Juan married María Rosalía Baca, daughter of José Marcos Baca Captain and María Magdalena Jaramillo, on 15 Mar 1763 in Alburquerque, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España ⁵⁰⁹.^,1466 (María Rosalía Baca was born in 1750 in San Fernando del Río Turbio, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España ^40,41 and was baptized on 8 Mar 1750 in Albuquerque, New México Territory ⁴⁰.)

29 Dec 1763, Alburquerque Juan Domingo Sánchez (30), Spanish, son of Jacinto Sánchez and Doña Effigenia Durán y Chávez, petitioned to marry Maria Rosalia Baca (12), Spanish of San Fernando del Río Turbio, daughter of Captain Marcos Baca and María Jaramillo. Pair dispensed, closed 3rd with 4th degree consanguinity, and 4th degree by another line. Witnesses, Diego Antonio Durán y Chávez (41) says grandmother had produced the mother of the bride's father; the mother of the groom's father and the mother of the bride's mother were first cousins, both being the daughters of two brothers having the same father and mother. Other Witnesses: Andres Antonio Romero (34), José Miguel Molina (45).
