• Background Information. 252 Cristóbal's wife was Ana Moreno de Lara, and it seems as though Cristóbal was dead by 1687, when she and some of her children are mentioned. There were the girls, Catalina, Juana, and Luisa; and the sons, José, Manuel and Ignacio, who must have been the third child mentioned by his father in the muster-roll. José and Manuel were mentioned with their father in 1682. One of the daughters, Catalina Married Antonio Gallegos, Juana became the wife of Francisco Xavier II, and Luisa appears to be the woman of the name who was the second wife of Ignacio de Aragón.
