• Background Information. 250 Domingo Hurtado and doña Ana Josepha Rubio were married in the Church of Santa María la Blanca on 13 August 1662. Domingo's father was identified as Juan Páez Hurtado. His mother was Gerónima. Her surname has proven difficult to decipher. The surname looks like 'de Veiro Viscaino' or 'de Veire Viscaino,' but also has been transcribed as 'de Reina Viscaino.' Doña Ana Josepha Rubio was a daughter of Juan López Pachón and doña María Vásquez Rubio. The marriage record of Domingo Hurtado and doña Ana Josepha Rubio reads:
