He was the son of Guethenoc, Vicount of Chateautro-en-Porhoët who was living 1008-1021 and was married to Allarum. The son of Josselin and grandson of Guethenoc was Eudon I, Viscount of Porhoët and Rennes, who married Emme de Leon. ¹⁶⁰
