From the History of Stratford, page 1252:
Caleb, son of Francis Nichols, married Anne, daughter of Andrew Ward, of Fairfield; removed to Woodbury with his family. He died in 1690. His widow anne Nichols died 23 July 1718 at age 98 years.

In his will dated 6 Nov 1671, he mentions his sons Samuel, John, Celeb and Abraham, and his daughters Mary, Ann, Phebe and Moses Wheeler who had married his daughter Sarah on 20 Oct 1674, John Prentiss who also married an unknow daughter, William Martin who married his daughter Abigail, Mary who married a man named Hull, and Phebe who likely married Nicholas Knell.
