Pay-roll of Captain Joseph Gardner, 29 Feb 1675/76,"Thomas Tenney, 2 pounds 14 shillings. For five pounds, he deeded one acre of marsh land in rowley to Thomas Jewett. His wife, Margaret Hidden, signs 7 Jul6 1707, and it was witnessed by Tomas Tenney, Jr., and Samuel Tenney.
Another deed, dated 15 Sep 1709, also signed by his wife Margaret, was for ten pounds eleven shilling, to Mrs. Mary Spofford of Rowley, one and one-half acres in Rowley, said land called "polipod lot." This deed was acknowledged 9 Oct 1713. He gives his son Samuel and daughter Ruth duty, his homestead and all other land in Rowley on 30 Jaun 1716/27.
Thomas Tenney Jr. was born in Rowley, 16 Jul 1748 and died, 7 Aug 1730. He married Margaret Hidden, daughter of Andrew Hidden and Sarah _____of Towley.
