Widow Constance Crosby had an acre and a half house-lot, 1643. This lot was later owned by John Pichard, at which time it was called a "two acre lot."
Constance was buried 25 Jan 1683/84. Among the Essex Court files, Vol. 21, 45:
"To this Honoured Court now sitting at Ipswitch: 4, 3, 1674 Constance Crosbie Grandmother to this Orphan Sarah Longhorne understanding that Daniell Wickam is like to be perswaded to accept Gardianship for her: I thinking that she had need of one that hath more experience to oversee her and for other Reasons I am very unwilling & doe desire that such a thing may not be proceeded in or Granted till Thomas Longhorne of Cambridg her uncle Knowes and Gives his Consent: for he takes more Care of the Children then I expected he would have don: not more at psent your poor & huble servant & Handmaide,

Constance, daughter of Thomas Brigham and Isabel Watson, born at Holme-on-Spalding-Moor abt. 1602, was an administratrix of the estate of her father in 1632. She married, about 1622, Robert Crosby, bap. 30 Oct 1596, died abt. 1640. She came to New England, a widow, with her four daughters, was granted a houselot at Rowley, before 1643, and was buried in Rowley 25 Jan 1684.
