Vratislav, born 888 and killed in battle on 23 Feb 921, was the son of Bariwoj I and his wife Ludmilla, daughter of Slavibor ze Pšova, Prince of the Sorbs. Vratislave married in about 906, Drahomira. The Chronica Boemorum names "Spitigneum et Wratizlaum" as sons of "Borivoy", specifying that the latter succeeded on the death of his older brother [Cosmć Pragensis Chronica Boemorum I.15, MGH SS IX, pp. 44-5]. The Chronica Boemorum names "Dragomir de durissima gente Luticensi…ex provincial nomine Stodor" as wife of "Wratizlav" [Cosmć Pragensis Chronica Boemorum I.15, MGH SS IX, p. 45].
