• Family Background. 360 Sir Gerard de Braybrooke married Isabel or Elizabeth Dakeny, daughter of Sir Roger Dakeny of Cliphill, Bedfordshire by Joan, daughter and heiress of Richard Cave. They had five sons, Gerard, John, Nicholas, Robert and Reginald, as well as one daughter, Alice who married John Carbonel and Sir John Kentwood.
