• Web Reference: Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Letaud de Mâcon was the son of Aubry I comté de Mâcon and his wife Tolana. His first wife, and the mother of his son Aubry II was Ermengarde, daughter of Manasses comté de Dijon and his wife Ermengarde. "The genealogy of the Comtes de Mâcon, included in the cartulary of Saint-Vincent de Mâcon, names "Letaudus filius eius (Alberici Narbonensis)" [Mâcon Saint-Vincent 7, p. 6]. A manuscript genealogy, dated to the early 12th century, records "Letaldus comes Vesoncius et Umbertus comes Marisconensis fratres" [Halphen & Poupardin (1913), Genealogiæ comitum Andegavensium, V, p. 249]. "Albericus comes…filii mei Letboldus et Umbertus" donated property to Saint-Vincent de Mâcon by charter dated (circa 930) [Mâcon Saint-Vincent 38, p. 31]. "Letaudus comes", his wife and their parents are named in his donation to Cluny dated 935 [Cluny, Tome I, 432, p. 420]."
Liétaud married Ermengarde de Châlon, daughter of Manasses comté de Dijon and Ermengarde. (Ermengarde de Châlon died about 931.)
