Antonio José Váldez, 21, español, single, a citizen of the plaza Blanca in the Abiquiú area, the legitimates son of Juan Domingo Váldez and the late María de la Luz Martín. María Soledad Martín, 14, española, the legitimate daughter of Manuel Martín and Ana María Larrañaga, citizens of the plaza of Blanca. The couple was related in the fourth degree and consantuinity on a transverse line.

Witnesses: José Manuel Váldez, 34, citizen of the plaza of San Rafael, in the Abiquiú area; Ramón Ulibarrí, citizen of the plaza of San Rafael; Diego de Luna, 30, citizen of the plaza of San Rafae; and Antonio Muñoz, 49, citizen of the plaza of San Rafael.

On 7 Nov 1822, Father Sánchez Vergara forwarded the proceedings to Durango, stating that María Soledad Martín had sex with her brother-in-law, resulting in a child being born. Her brother-in-law was the first cousin of the prospective groom, which created a new impediment in the fourth degree of consanguinity on a traverse line. On 31 Jan 1823, a dispensation was granted for both impediments. As penance for the impediment of consanguinity, the couple was to say a rosary of the fifteen mysteries. A penance for the impediment of affinity, María Soledad was to go to confession, take communion, and recite a rosary of fifteen mysters. She was to obtain certifications that she had done as ordered.

Father Alcina stated that he married Antonio José Váldez and María de la Soledad Martín and gave them the nuptial blessing in Abiquiú on 17 June.

2. Abiquiú, 9 Jun 1808, Father Alcina baptized six-day-old María Soledad, daughter of Manuel Martín and Ana María Larrañaga. Her godparents were Salvador Salazar and Guadalupe Martín

3. 1 Nov 1822, Manuel Martín and Ana María Larrañaga gave permission for their daughter, María Soledad Martín Larrañaga, to marry Antonio José Vádez.
