Colligan, The Spanish Recolonization of New Mexico, p, 272). Apparently, Cristóbal Carvallo was also known as Cristóbal de Medina. There is a baptismal record dated 18 October 1651, Santa Vera Cruz Church, Mexico City, for Micaela, daughter of Cristóbal de Medina and Ana Romero.
