24 Feb 1784, Marina de Jesús Baca names her deceased husband, Juan Tafoya in her will, and mentioned that she raised three children Juan, Miguel and Polonia. Marina made the administrators of the will "her son-in-law, José Sandobal" and her "daughter Polonia Tafolla." She made Polonia her sole heir.
