Ambel de Stuteville
- Marriage: Sir Matthew Redmayne Knight 916
General Notes:
~Transactions of the Cumberland, Vol. III, New Series, pp. 279-280, Ambel is given as the wife of Sir Matthew de Redmayne by W. Greenwood in his article titled "The Redmans of Levens." Because she brought manors to her husband that had been part of the manors belonging to the Stuteville's which were also part of Joan de Stuteville's dower, he reasoned her father must be William de Stuteville, lord of Liddel, the sister of Nicholas who was father of Joan. 388
Ambel married Sir Matthew Redmayne Knight, son of Henry de Redmayne and daughter of Adam, Dean of Lancaster.916 (Sir Matthew Redmayne Knight was born before 1190 in Levens, Westmorland, England and died before 1254 in Levens, Westmorland, England 916.)
