Walter de Beauchamp, son of William de Beauchamp, 5th Baron Beauchamp of Elmley Castle and his wife Isabel Mauduit, was Steward to the Household of King Edward I and Constable of Gloucester Castle. Walter married about 1275, given a papal dipensation in 1289, Alice de Toeni, daughter of Roger de Toeni and his first wife, Alice de Bohun, daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 2nd Earl of Hereford & Essex.
