Harald was born about 750 and killed in batttle in the Irish Sea about 804. He married Imhild, daughter of Warnechin, Graf von Engern and his wife Kunhilde von Rügen. The son of Harald and his wife Imhild was Halfdan, King of Haithabu.

Kunhilde married Warenchin, Graf von Engern.
