Judith Phippen came from Stepney Parish, London when she was sixteen years old, leaving London on a shipe called "Planter" in 1635. During the voyage, she married on board the ship an acquaintance by the name of James Jaywood, age 22 years, who died in Woburn in 1642. Judith Phippen Haywood married William Simonds in 1643. She died 3 Jun 1689 at the age of 70.

Judith was from Wedmore, Somerset, England. She migrated in 1635 on the Planter. Her record reads, 22 Mar 1634/35, "Judith Phippin." aged 16, one of "4 servants" of Nicholas Davis, was enrolled to be a passenger for New England on the Planter. She first lived in Charlestown, but later moved to Wobrun.

Judith was aged 16 on 22 Mar 1634/35, which would make her birthday about 1619. She was the daughter of "William Phippin, Wedmore Somerset." Judith died at Woburn on 3 Jan 1689/90 as the "widow Judith Simonds." She was married twice, first to James Hayward and then William Simons.
