Antonio de Ulibarrí was likely the brother or half-brother of Juan de Ulibarrí. Antonio was married to María Durán y Chaves by 1711. From 1714 on he was Alcalde of Laguna, Acoma, and Zuni, where he destroyed estufas by order of Governor Mogollón. He also took part in important campaigns, like those of 1706 and 1716. In 1731 he was Alcalde Mayor of Santa Fé, and War Captain, when he testified favorably about the missionaries.

Antonio and María de Chaves had no children, but reared a girl, Rosa de Armijo, who was suing him for her adopted mother's inheritance. Antonio married again, but it is not known what children he had by the second wife. He died on November 2, 1762, more than eighty years old; his wife at this time was Teresa Rael.

Antonio married Antonia Teresa Rael de Aguilar, daughter of Alonso Jayme Rael de Aguilar and Josefa Ana García de Noriega, on 25 Jan 1725 in Santa Cruz de la Cañada, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España.⁴⁰³

Captain Antonio de Ulibarrí, widower of María de Chaves, deceased and buried in the billa of Alburquerque, a resident of the villa of Santa Fé, son of José Henríquez de los Reyes and María de Hinojosa, residents who were from San Luis de la Paz, both deceased, with doña Antonia Teresa Rael de Aguilar, 19, daughter of the legitimate marriage of Sergeant Major, don Alphonso Rael de Aguilar and doña Jospha García de Noriega, residents of the said villa of Santa Fé.

Witnesses: Sebastian de Bargas, 19, married in this villa, a soldier of the presidio; Manuel Tenorio, married, and of this villa, and Alcalde Mayor of the pueblo fo Pecos; Juan Manuel Chirino, 61, a resident of this villa and married; Juan de Pineda, 54, a resident of this villa of Santa Fé, and a soldier of the presidio.
