Luis de Armenia died in Santa Fé on 3 Jan 1756, at the age of sixty. Being a contemporary of Antonio, he was very likely his brother, but their origin is not known. Luis had owned a tract of Santa Fé land on the road to Pecos since 1732, which was claimed by his son, Nicolás, in 1759, who was married and had children at the time.

Nicolás de Armenta and his wife, Eulalia (Olaya) Sánchez, had a child, Ana Teresa, born January 30, 1750.
