The Codex de Roda names "Regemundo…et domnus Ucus episcopus" as the children of "Regemundus" (son of "Pontio" and his wife "filia Garsie Sanzionis") and his unnamed wife, specifying that the younger Raymond was killed "in Garazo" [Lacarra, J. M. 'Textos navarros del Códice de Roda', Estudios de Edad Media de la Corona de Aragón Vol. I (Zaragoza, 1945) 33, p. 251.]. As pointed out by Settipani [Settipani (2004), p. 43], it is reasonable to suppose that Raymond was the same person as "…Raymundo filio Gundinildis nepoti meo" who is named in the codicil testament of "Gersindć comitissć", widow of Comte Raymond Pons, dated to [Histoire Générale de Languedoc 3rd Edn. Tome V, Preuves, Chartes et Diplômes, 126, col. 274.].

Raimund married Adélais d’Anjou, daughter of Foulques "le Bon" comté d’Anjou and Gerberge. (Adélais d’Anjou was born about 945 in Anjou, died on 29 May 1026 and was buried on 25 Jul 1032 in Montmajour.)
