20 Nov 1808 in Belé, Father Álvarez stated that he was unable to locate a record for María Micaela Baca, the legitmate daughter of Juan José Baca and Margarita Chaves, but that he was certain his predecessor, Father Bernal baptized her and that her padrinos were Domingo Chaves and his wife María Manuela Aguirre.

José Antonio Enrique Durán y Chaves, 26, single, was a citizen of Belén jurisdiction, the legitimate son of Santiago Durán y Chaves & María de la Luz García Jurado. María Micaela Baca, 17, a citizen of the Belén jurisdiction, was the legitimate daughter of Juan José Baca and Margarita Chaves. The couple was related in the 3rd and 4th degrees of consanguinity.

Father Álvarez questioned José Antonio was added that he was a life-long resident of the Belén area. María Micaela stated that she had her permission to mary.

Father Álvarez forwarded the proceeding to Durango on 20 Nov 1808. On 9 Jan 1809, Vicar General Milián Rodríguez granted a dispensation.
